Premium Minibus Hire in Spain

What Kind of Group Trip Are You Planning?

Each kind of trip has one rule or detail that shapes the booking. Choose the closest to yours below; the airport rules that start many trips follow here.

One deciding rule per trip

School trips follow Real Decreto 443/2001 once three quarters of the passengers are under 16: an adult escort besides the driver, a coach no more than 16 years old and the V-10 sign front and rear. On wine tours to Rioja, Ribera del Duero, Jerez, Priorat or the Penedès, the driver's alcohol limit is 0.3 g/l, lower than the general one. For a wedding, a car with driver is a VTC with at most nine seats; larger guest groups go by minibus or coach. A team on a long away trip gains from a rule that lets the driver postpone weekly rest for up to 12 days on a single occasional trip. For accessible travel, every wheelchair position replaces seats, so the number of wheelchair users decides the vehicle.

Rules the group organiser needs

  • A car with driver (VTC) may only carry passengers on a service booked in advance, so airport pick-ups by car with driver are always pre-booked (ROTT art. 182.1)
  • At Barcelona-El Prat, Aena lists coach places at Terminal T1 (level 0, North and South zones) and at Terminal T2 (bays at T2A and T2C)
  • Aena publishes no coach pick-up point at several airports, including Málaga; the operator agrees the meeting point and the stopping place when booking

What organisers ask us

Can one booking combine an airport arrival with day tours?

Yes. Arrival, excursions and departure can all sit on one quote, with the driving hours planned across the days.

Is a car with driver the same as a taxi?

No. A VTC car runs only pre-booked services and may not wait for passengers who have not booked. It may not carry markings that look like a taxi's.

How long can a coach be driven in a day?

Up to 9 hours, or 10 hours on two days a week, with a break of 45 minutes after 4.5 hours. Longer days need a second driver.
