Girona-Costa Brava airport coach transfers to Girona and the coast
Girona-Costa Brava sits in Vilobí d'Onyar, about 10 km from Girona and about 85 km from Barcelona. Groups use it for the Costa Brava resorts, for Girona itself, and sometimes as Barcelona's second airport.
No coach stop published
Girona-Costa Brava is another airport without a published coach stop or waiting area; the operator names the stopping place when confirming. The multi-storey car park in front of the terminal has a 2.1 m clearance, so it takes neither coaches nor tall minibuses. One terminal keeps the meeting point simple: name a spot inside Arrivals and let the driver come to the group.
Into Girona: two set-down places
The old town is about 14 km away, around 30 minutes. Coaches set down only on the Passeig de la Devesa, from 09:00 to 21:00 for up to 15 minutes, or at the bus station, bays 25 to 27, for up to 10 minutes. Coach parking is at the Pavelló de Fontajau, paid on working days, or the Pavelló de Palau 2, with no time limit. The Barri Vell is steep and largely pedestrian, so the group walks up.
Girona's low-emission zone applies on working weekdays from 07:00 to 20:00. Vehicles with any DGT label enter freely; buses without one can apply for an authorisation. A review is due before 2028. The operator checks the coach before travel.

Lloret de Mar is about 29 km from the airport, around 35 minutes. Figueres and the Teatre-Museu Dalí are about 52 km, around 50 minutes. Resort hotels have no published coach set-down, so give the operator every hotel name and confirm each stop.

Continuing to Barcelona
Barcelona is about 85 km away. If the coach carries on into the city, Zona Bus permits and the AMB register for foreign coaches apply there; arrange both well ahead.
