Barcelona, Palma, Malaga and Valencia by Coach

Spain's four big cruise ports each handle coaches their own way. The first question is always the same: which terminal or quay does the ship use on that date?

Terminal first, then the transfer

Barcelona is moving all cruise traffic onto the Moll Adossat, and its World Trade Center South terminal is due to shut when 2026 ends. Plan from the terminal printed on your cruise documents. A coach may drop off and load passengers and bags inside the cruise area; it may not stay parked.

A ship in Palma ties up at one of two separate places, the Muelle de Poniente or the west breakwater (Dique del Oeste), and Palma limits cruise calls each day. Malaga's large ships use Terminals A and B on the Muelle de Levante, with public pick-up areas in front, while smaller ships use the Palmeral terminal beside the city centre. Valencia's port confirms call dates only a day before arrival, so the coach booking is rechecked then.

What organisers ask us

What do you need for a cruise transfer?

The ship, the date, the terminal or quay if known, the all-aboard time and the headcount. For embarkation, add flight or train times.

Is Montserrat possible on a Barcelona port day?

Yes, as a long excursion. It is about 62 km by road from the Moll Adossat, roughly 1 h 25 min by coach in light traffic, and the coach must be back well before all-aboard.

Can a group see the Alhambra from Malaga's port?

It makes a long day. Granada is about 131 km away, roughly 2 h 10 min by coach each way, and the Nasrid Palaces entry time cannot move.
