Coach Hire from Valencia's Cruise Terminal
Valencia's cruise terminal stands at the northern entrance to the port, the part nearest the city and outside the commercial docks. For a coach that makes loading simple.
Two berths, one passenger building
In 2026 ships use two berths, Transversal and Poniente, either side of a single passenger building. Anything under 300 m long fits. Access is open, the main roads are close, and according to the port, tour coaches get away to the main sights fast.
One local point to know: a call is only confirmed by the port a day before the ship arrives. Look at the schedule again the evening before, and tell the operator at once if it moves.

Airport, centre and hotels
Manises airport is some 18 km off, around half an hour by coach. With no Aena coach point published, the operator sets the airport meeting place.
For the town hall square, reckon on 8 km and about 20 minutes. Ciutat Vella has restricted traffic and no official list of coach stops was found: the coach sets down at its edge, at a point the operator confirms. No official page setting out ZBE rules for coaches could be found for Valencia, so the operator checks the vehicle on your booking.
From the ship to the coach
- The cruise facilities are outside the commercial port, close to the main access roads, and the port authority says excursion coaches have quick access to the main destinations.
- City bus stops are a few minutes' walk from the terminal.
- The Plaza del Ayuntamiento, in the centre of Valencia, is about 8 km by road from the cruise terminal, about 20 min by coach in light traffic.
- The port authority confirms cruise call dates only 24 hours before arrival, so recheck the ship's schedule the day before.
- The passenger terminal offers parking for cruise passengers who leave a car for the length of the cruise, by reservation.
Airports for this port
- Valencia Airport (VLC) — about 18 km, about 30 min by coach in light traffic
Short excursions from the ship
The Albufera lagoon and El Palmar lie about 8 km south of the centre, roughly 15 minutes, with boat trips on the water and rice fields around it. Sagunt is about 28 km from the city. Xàtiva (about 62 km) and the Requena wine area (about 68 km) are an hour or so each way.
Ships calling between 1 and 19 March meet the Fallas, when much of the centre is shut to traffic. The route must avoid the closed streets, above all on 17 and 18 March.
What organisers ask us
Can passengers leave a car at the terminal?
The passenger terminal offers parking, by reservation, for cruise passengers who leave a car for the length of the cruise. That is arranged separately from the coach.
Is there public transport from the terminal?
Yes, city buses stop a short walk from the terminal. For luggage or a set programme, the coach is easier.
What happens if the call date changes?
Since dates are confirmed only a day ahead, tell the operator as soon as the cruise line tells you. The booking moves with the ship where a vehicle is free.
