Coach Hire for the Seville April Fair
In 2027 the fair lights up at midnight on Monday 12 April, the Alumbrado, and the six fair days follow from Tuesday 13 to Sunday 18 April. The fairground is in Los Remedios, across the river from the old town.
The fairground
The Real de la Feria covers about 450,000 m² with about 1,050 casetas. Many are private; some public casetas are open to visitors. Know which the group is heading for, because it decides how long they stay.
The fair begins when the lights of the portada and the fairground go on at midnight, and ends with a fireworks display by the Guadalquivir.
Getting the group there and back
From the Cathedral it is only some 2.5 km. Extra metro and city-bus services run for the fair. A pedestrian entrance opened in 2026 between Pepe Luis Vázquez and Juan Pablo II brought visitors nearer to taxis and buses.
There is no published coach plan for the fair. The operator confirms where the coach sets down and collects, and the group walks the last stretch. Plan for the coach to set down, leave and come back at an agreed hour, with a meeting point everyone can find late at night.

Guests with reduced mobility
Reserved parking for disabled badge holders is laid out on Maestranza Aérea and Virgen de la Cinta. Nearby taxi ranks and city-bus stops are set up so that passengers with reduced mobility can board. For a group with wheelchair users, ask for a wheelchair-accessible minibus.
Before or after the fair
The airport is some 13 km from the Real, about 20 minutes on clear roads. Jerez de la Frontera, a sherry town, is about 91 km from Seville, around 1 h 25 min: a day out on a fair weekday.
What organisers ask us
Is the Feria the same week as Holy Week?
No. It follows two weeks later. In 2027 Holy Week ends on 28 March and the Feria opens on the night of 12 April.
Can the coach wait near the gate all evening?
No coach parking near the Real has been published. The coach sets down, leaves and returns at the agreed time; the driver's hours decide how late that can be.
How far is the airport from the fairground?
About 13 km, roughly 20 minutes by coach in light traffic. Allow more on the evenings of the fair.
